Originally developed for use as railroad ties in China, from this humble beginning Totally Bamboo recognized its potential and has refined the manufacturing process to its current form. Utilizing a specially developed system of heating pulverized bamboo fiber, it is then extremely compressed, permanently fusing it together utilizing a food safe adhesive to form a void-free block from which Totally Bamboo’s NewBoo products are made.
